Terms of use
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These terms ("Terms") are the agreement between Kouidev ("we", "us") and the organization that signs up for Yelto (the "Service", "you"). The person who creates the account says they can bind the organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The short version. You are responsible for who you call and what you ask. The assistant always says it is an AI, follows calling hours and your do-not-call list, and cannot be used for spam, scams or emergencies. You pay by the minute of conversation from a balance you top up.
1. The Service
Yelto lets a team place phone calls in which an AI assistant speaks to the person who answers, following a playbook and the details your team provides, and then stores a transcript, the answers and a summary. It includes team accounts with roles, a shared balance, calling settings, practice calls and batch calls. Today it makes English-language calls to US and UK numbers. We may change or add features, and will tell you about changes that affect you materially.
2. Accounts and teams
- You must be a business or other organization and at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- Give accurate information. We review new organizations before they can place calls, and may set or change limits, ask for more information, or decline an organization.
- The owner decides who joins and with what role, and is responsible for everything done under the account. Keep sign-in details secure and tell us at once if you think an account has been accessed without permission.
3. How you may use it
You are responsible for each call your organization places. You must:
- call only people and numbers you are allowed to call, and follow every law that applies to the call, including telephone, telemarketing, consent, do-not-call, call-recording and privacy laws in the places of the caller and the person called (in the US, for example, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state laws; in the UK, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and UK GDPR);
- make the calls inside the calling hours the Service enforces, and respect do-not-call requests, which the Service records automatically when someone asks;
- keep the AI disclosure the Service makes at the start of every call, and never tell the assistant to deny being an AI or to pretend to be a particular real person;
- give the assistant only information you are allowed to share, and not collect from the person called card numbers, security codes, passwords, one-time codes or similar secrets.
You must not use the Service to:
- send unsolicited marketing, run scams, collect debts in breach of law, harass, threaten or deceive anyone, or impersonate another person or organization;
- call emergency services, or for anything where a mistake could endanger someone's health or safety;
- get around calling limits, review, blocks or do-not-call lists, or interfere with or probe the Service;
- resell the Service or build a competing service from it without our written agreement.
Calls to private individuals for marketing need their prior consent where the law requires it. The Service helps with limits and opt-outs, but compliance is yours.
4. What the AI can and cannot do
The assistant uses artificial intelligence, which can mishear, misunderstand or make mistakes, and the person called decides what they say and agree to. Check anything important, such as a price, a date or a commitment, before you rely on it. The Service is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice, and the assistant may pause a call to ask your team before going beyond its playbook. You are responsible for decisions your team makes on a call.
5. Balance, prices and refunds
- You top up a shared balance and calls are charged from it by the minute of conversation, at the prices shown in the app at the time. A call that does not connect is not charged. Practice calls are free.
- The app reserves part of the balance while a call is in progress and settles the actual amount when it ends. A call stops when the reserved amount is used.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Top-ups are non-refundable except where the law requires, or where we decide otherwise for a billing error or an unused balance when you close your account in good standing; ask us.
- We may change prices with notice in the app or by email; a change applies to calls made after it takes effect. Taxes are your responsibility unless we state otherwise.
6. Your data
Your organization keeps its rights in the content it provides and in the transcripts, answers and summaries the Service produces for it. You give us permission to process them to provide the Service, as the Privacy policy describes. For information about the people your team calls, your organization is the controller and we are its processor; for a data processing agreement, email support@sales.yelto.app. We do not use your call content to train AI models. When you close your account, call content is deleted after 30 days and billing records are kept as the law requires.
7. Suspension and closing
You can close your account at any time from the app (owners only). We may pause calls or suspend or close an account at once if we reasonably believe these Terms or the law are being broken, if there are complaints about calls, if it puts people or the Service at risk, or if a payment fails, and we will tell you why where we can.
8. Our rights
We own the Service, its software, design and marks. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your organization's business while these Terms apply. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
9. No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that calls will connect or be answered, or that the AI's output is accurate or fit for your purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties.
10. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability for anything arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the event. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Indemnity
You will cover claims, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that third parties or authorities bring against us because of how your organization used the Service, including calls it placed, content it provided, or its breach of these Terms or the law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing law and venue to be set by Kouidev before launch], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer or data-protection law.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. For a material change we will tell account owners by email or in the app before it applies. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
